Houston Adult Entertainment: HPD vice officer accused of tampering with records

It was a Houston police officer’s word against a woman he had accused of being a prostitute. But now, after a recording she had taken surfaced, it is the officer who finds himself in serious legal trouble. What investigators heard during that recording lead them to drop charges against the woman and file new charges against the officer.

Sworn to uphold the law, Officer Roccaforte is now accused of breaking it. The 57-year-old HPD vice officer allegedly lied on an offense report so he could arrest and charge 46-year-old Phyllis Stokely with prostitution.
Donna Hawkins with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office explained, “The actual terms between the agreement between the officer and the suspect did not rise to the level of a prostitution charge.”

“After telling the male he was wasting his time, she stated the male identified himself as a police officer and arrested her for prostitution,” the court documents continued.

Houston Strip Clubs: 2 Texas inmates set to die in March lose appeals

The court also refused an appeal from Hank Skinner, 47, who faces lethal injection March 24 for the 1993 New Year’s Eve killings of Twila Jean Busby, 40, and her two grown sons at their home in Pampa.
Maxwell, who has a March 11 execution date, and his girlfriend were charged with Lopes’ slaying and were likened to characters in the movie “Natural Born Killers.”
Maxwell’s lawyer did not immediately return a telephone message Monday seeking comment.
The couple was arrested in San Francisco five days after Lopes’ body was found behind a San Antonio strip mall. Driving Lopes’ truck, Maxwell, an ex-convict from Indianapolis, ran a red light in San Francisco, then opened fire on police when they tried to pull him over.
Maxwell and his girlfriend, ex-stripper Tessie McFarland, were both charged in Texas with capital murder. She received a life prison term in a plea deal.

Houston Adult Entertainment: CPS: No Action Taken to Prevent Neglect

The girl’s caretaker is in jail accused of intentionally starving her. A three month long investigation resulted in the arrest of Joy Padilla, 40, on a charge of injury to a child.
According to court documents, Heaven Jenkins weighed 16 pounds, similar to what a seven-month-old baby should weigh. Doctors say she was not fed. Padilla’s own children, however, say their mother did nothing wrong and CPS is to blame.
“Why would she starve Heaven? If she starved Heaven, all of us would have been starved, too,” said Tony Silva, one of Padilla’s twelve children.
In February of 2009, Padilla temporarily became a mom of 13 children while living and working at the Texas Inn on the North Freeway at Crosstimbers. Investigators say Heaven’s biological mother, Pamela Jenkins, dropped off her then 21-month-old daughter with Padilla before going to jail on prostitution charges.

Houston Massage Parlors: Ohno, Celski began on wheels

… It’s nice and warm in here,” Mike Pattison, the family patriarch, told the students. “But this is where Apolo and J.R. learned how to skate.”
The Pattisons traveled to Vancouver to watch the two Olympians they helped produce. They paid $1,200 for four tickets and sat in the front row, the best seats in the house.
At that moment, the memories flooded back. Like a teenage Ohno break-dancing between skating sessions, performing his patented windmill. Or Celski rolling past adults at age 3, his skates and body nearly equal in size.
“Everything started there,” said Yuki Ohno, Apolo’s father. “That was the beginning.”
Pattison’s West sits on the Pacific Highway near a massage parlor, a storage facility and a chiropractor. The sign out front advertised this week’s adult R&B night.

Houston Strip Clubs: Warning for Tiger hecklers

Williams has a reputation for being Woods’ enforcer on the green. He does not tolerate distracting behaviours, going so far as to wrestle a US$7,000 (S$9,800) camera from a fan who clicked a picture of Woods during his backswing and throw it in a pond at one event in 2002.
‘Nothing changes,’ New Zealander Williams told The Sun-Herald newspaper from the Gold Coast in Queensland, where he was on holiday with his family.
‘My job is to give him the best information I can and get him around in the fewest possible strokes. And as I have always pointed out, it is to try and give him a level playing field.
‘I won’t do anything differently. I won’t view him any differently.’
Attitudes towards Woods are already changing. Two employees from a local strip club had to be chased off the property on Friday at the Sawgrass Marriott, where Woods made his televised apology for his ‘irresponsible and selfish behaviour’ as he broke his long silence on the sex scandal that engulfed him last year. — AP

Houston Strip Clubs: Day chasing Tiger not worth remembering

Remember way back in November when the National Enquirer broke the story about Tiger’s affairs? Well, Friday morning felt like a five-hour long tabloid. Reporters chased anything they could find (sounds like Tiger, doesn’t it?) in Sawgrass. And sadly, I was out there, too. Not the reason why I got in to journalism.
I knew it when the camera guy asked me that question. I knew it when I saw two women with suggestive Tiger signs standing 50 yards from a day care. I knew it when I stopped a woman walking her labrador to get her take on the scene. The only thing missing were a few streakers, guys doing Irish car bombs and Gloria Allred looking for a few more of Tiger’s hookups to represent.
Everything about the Tiger Woods scandal has felt that way, hasn’t it? The car crash. The porn stars. Mistresses falling out of thin air. Stalkerazzi chasing Tiger’s children around for photos. Me trying to interview a 70-year-old woman about Tiger’s trysts with strippers.

Houston Strip Clubs: Golfer’s Admission Puts Self-Proclaimed Sex Addiction In Spotlight

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI – FOX2now.com) – Tiger Woods’s self-proclaimed sex addiction has drawn new attention to a disorder that some liken to alcoholism and others consider a mere excuse for bad behavior. Experts say few people talk about it, but a lot of people have it. Some say we are a nation addicted to sex. From strip clubs, to phone sex, internet pornography, it seems it is everywhere. There are some, apparently Tiger Woods among them, who take it all a step further. It’s the kind of behavior that implodes people’s lives.

Houston Strip Clubs: Tiger Woods owes his mistresses nothing, Joslyn James and Gloria Allred press …

Tiger Woods mistresses are not victims, if anything, they are immoral women who slept with a married man and if they had any decency, shame, or one shred of self-respect they would stop appearing in front of the camera telling the world that they are classless women who sleep around.

Tiger does not need to address them, and if he were to have full restoration with his wife, Elin Woods, it would be best for him never to speak to them again.
Tiger did not commit a crime, he has not violated these women and he did not rape anyone. These women ( including strippers and porn stars)  knew exactly what they were doing when they went to bed with a married man.

Houston Strip Clubs: DR. BOYCE: The Guts Behind Tiger Woods’ Press Conference

There were more scores to settle in addition to the beef Tiger has with the American public.  There was the one with Accenture, the company that dropped Woods right after the scandal broke.  By having his press conference during one of Accenture’s events, he stole all of the golf-related headlines away from them.  The golf writers chose to boycott, but that matters as much as the stripper’s union boycotting a church service.  The truth is that golf writers don’t matter to mainstream America, only CNN, NBC, ABC and all the other networks that have every inch of Tiger’s attention.

Houston Strip Clubs: ‘I am deeply sorry’

… I want to say to each of you simply and directly, I am deeply sorry for the irresponsible and selfish behaviour I have engaged in.’
And so began a sporting comeback as eagerly anticipated as any of modern times, although Woods said he was unsure when he would return to competitive golf.
The disgraced golfer and the sport’s biggest star read for 13.5 minutes from a prepared statement as he faced a group of 40 family members, including his Thai mother, and close colleagues at a tightly-controlled event at the TPC Sawgrass resort, the home of American golf.
Conspicuous by her absence was Elin Nordegren, the Swedish model, the mother of Woods’ two children and the wife whom he repeatedly cheated on with more than 14 women, including a string of porn stars, strippers and waitresses.
