Houston Strip Clubs: A heap of civic pride, Texas style

You know what it’s like to talk to out-of-towners about Houston. They don’t have a clue. They think we’re a poky desert town — Abilene with the Astrodome. They think we’re all cowboys and oilmen. They don’t begin to fathom what a complicated, whacked-out mess we actually are. Even worse: They don’t care. They think Houston is boring. But now there’s the Sinaloa cartel!
