Trafficking Warrior Brings Awareness

HOUSTON – A local woman is making it her life’s work to fight sex trafficking. The issue is so big, it’s impossible for one group to tackle it alone. More and more individuals are answering the call to spread awareness.
In Houston, no matter where you stand, you’re always just a few miles away from a place where you can buy sex.
It’s not always from prostitutes but oftentimes slaves. It’s happening at cantinas, massage parlors and on the street.
“I go visit those places just to stand on the property and identify victims,” said Cat French, who answers the call to battle every night of the week.
“I’m a little out of the box, and I make some people kind of nervous.”
