Houston Escorts: Man faces deportation after plea in sex case

The owners of two Houston “modeling studios” that served as fronts for prostitution businesses were sentenced on federal conspiracy charges for paying out more than $40,000 in bribes to undercover agents.
Federal judge Lynn Hughes sentenced Ki Sun Park, a 54-year-old naturalized U.S. citizen from South Korea, to 18 months in federal prison on Monday. Her husband, Man Hui Cho, a green card-holder, was sentenced to one year and one day in prison. He faces possible deportation to South Korea after serving his prison sentence.
“I apologize for all of the illegal deeds I committed, your honor,” Park said meekly through a translator before she was sentenced.

Prosecutors said Cho and Park knew the women working at their businesses were engaging in prostitution and that some of them were in the country illegally and could be deported if discovered.
