Houston Adult Entertainment: Mexico Arrests People Trafficker Wanted by US

Gerardo Salazar, also known as Pedro Salamanca, was caught in the central Mexican state of Tlaxcala, where he is from, thanks to an anonymous tip, the AGs office said.
Salazar admitted to the officers that he was the subject of a U.S. arrest warrant and offered them a house worth 200,000 pesos (about $15,700) and an automobile if they let him go, the AGs office said.
Salazar, who goes by the nickname El Gallo (The Rooster), is listed on the FBIs Web site as one of the most-wanted people traffickers.
Salazar and other members of his group allegedly recruited and enticed young Mexican females, including two minors, to engage in prostitution. Salazar and his associates would romance the victims and convince them to come to the United States as their girlfriends. While in the United States, Salazar and his traffickers allegedly forced the victims into prostitution through beatings, threats, deception, and other forms of coercion, the FBI says.
