KATY PERRY will never be caught stumbling drunk out of a bar – because she has to work too hard to maintain her pop career.
The singer insists her life is too busy to spend time boozing, and she regularly works 13-hour days in the studio or on tour.
And the I Kissed A Girl hitmaker is adamant she has to strive to keep ahead of her pop rivals, comparing the music industry to stripper film Showgirls.
She tells Britain’s Guardian magazine, “You have to bust your a** at this which is why you don’t find me getting s**tfaced (drunk) in bars that much. It’s so intense, it’s like you catch a rocket and you’re hanging on for dear life and you’re like, ‘Go!’
“The second record I’m more buckled in because, God, how many times do you see people slump on their sophomore record? Nine out of 10? But I’m still working, like, 13-hour days, five, six days a week and singing on top of it. And knowing that there’s someone right behind me, ready to go, ready to push me down the stairs, just like in Showgirls.”

Houston Strip Clubs: PERRY ABSTAINS FROM BOOZE TO KEEP COMPETITORS AT BAY
Published August 9, 2010 Houston strip clubs 0 CommentsLuke Wilson’s Jack Harris is a Houston family man who has built a career around fixing other people’s problems, and there’s a big one in L.A. as Giovanni Ribisi’s Wayne and Gabriel Macht’s Buck, two junkie slackers, have discovered a way to offer nude pictures to men on the internet for the reasons mentioned earlier. To keep their business growing, they combine forces with a local strip club owned by the Russian mob, but forget to share the wealth with their partners as they start making millions. Jack is hired by a high-powered lawyer, played by James Caan, to fix this problem, but realizing Wayne and Buck are onto something enormous, Jack buys off both the Russians and the lawyer as they set up a new business, though things go wrong and Jack is suddenly dragged into a world completely foreign to him, while trying his best not to be associated as a pornographer.
Houston Strip Clubs: Katy Perry Wants Rihanna To Strip At Her Bachelorette Party
Published July 27, 2010 Houston strip clubs 0 CommentsRihanna’s toughest problem right now? Planning Katy Perry’s bachelorette party.
“It’s taking up way more time than my tour,” she said. “It’s so much pressure. Her wedding is probably going to be the best wedding I’ve ever been to and now I have to match the bachelorette party to that … I could have balloons and Disney characters there and she’ll still make it wild. That’s just Katy Perry. There’s no way around that with her.”
Katy does have one wild idea – she wants Rihanna to be the stripper.
“You see people coming and they strip at your bachelor party,” Perry said. “But I want her to strip at my bachelorette party.”
Katy said she wanted to see “the whole bit, the whole bit. “She’s hot, I love her. She’s just the coolest chick and I want all of her clothes.”

Houston Strip Clubs: Lady Gaga Monster Success in Houston – the Next Madonna?
Published July 26, 2010 Houston strip clubs 0 CommentsLady Gaga propelled her concert in Houston starting from a silhouette of hair, her shoulder pads and her trademark long, shapely legs and her army of androgynous dancers! Gaga rolled out the performance with very complex outfits, then to her fluffy a.k.a. Snuffleupagus outfit, then to her peacock outfit with matching headdress, and many more! Lady Gaga’s piece de resistance was wearing a simple stripper chic outfit. She also showcased her piano talents when she played “Speechless” and “You and” while wearing only a shiny bikini and fake blood scattered all over her upper body.

Houston Strip Clubs: Lady Gaga’s "Monster" show is a perfect mix of theater, dance, sex, scandal …
Published July 26, 2010 Houston strip clubs 0 CommentsShe appeared for first tune “Dance in the Dark,” from her latest album, The Fame Monster, as a silhouette of hair, shoulder pads and her trademark long, shapely legs behind a violet curtain. Halfway through the song the curtain came down and Gaga and a small army of dancers were on a set resembling Times Square circa 1976. Neon signs offering tattoos, gold teeth and a variety of other street indulgences loomed over a smoking neon green junker of a car.
This was a grimy, elaborate, New York City street musical. By the time Gaga revved the bass loop of debut single (and first No. 1 hit), “Just Dance,” one half-expected the cast of Stomp to come crashing through the choreography with garbage-can-lid percussion or the cast of Rent to appear choraling.
Aside from the multi-level stage and the androgynous dance crew, Gaga had a couple of other characters that became prime players through the night. The most prominent was her wardrobe, which seems to range from complex abstract art to simple stripper pole chic without much of a middle ground.

Houston Strip Clubs: Cuban wants NBA to probe Heat’s signings
Published July 12, 2010 Houston strip clubs 0 CommentsThe credibility of this league has gone down the toilet. The Cavs didn’t need better support players to keep LJ. They needed a better nightlife in Cleveland to compete with South Beach. Upgrade those strip clubs if you want to attract free agents. If LJ is the best, the other players should have been coming to him, not the other way around. He took their millions straight out of high school without any intent of staying there. Sure the burden of winning was on his shoulders. It comes with the territory. Cuban is only saying what other owners are thinking: We have lost control over our franchises. For those who say why would the Cavs want him back if he tanked, it’s simple. His leaving probably dropped the value of the franchise by several hundred million. Few stars have ever left during their prime. Jabbar and Shaq both went to LA for the glamour and commercial opportunities. Guess not much as changed since South Beach is the eastern version of Hollywood.

Houston Strip Clubs: A heap of civic pride, Texas style
Published July 10, 2010 Houston strip clubs 0 CommentsYou know what it’s like to talk to out-of-towners about Houston. They don’t have a clue. They think we’re a poky desert town — Abilene with the Astrodome. They think we’re all cowboys and oilmen. They don’t begin to fathom what a complicated, whacked-out mess we actually are. Even worse: They don’t care. They think Houston is boring. But now there’s the Sinaloa cartel!
Their lifestyles? Elmore Leonard and Carl Hiaasen, working together, couldn’t do them justice. One drove a purple Hummer and catered to Montrose’s gay community; another guy worked as a stripper. When we tell that story to out-of-towners — and we will — it’ll be a dark, sneaky way to brag about Houston’s diversity. It’ll stand as incontrovertible proof that around here, diversity is more than something we mumble about in kindergarten classes and H.R. meetings. In practical, git-’er-done Houston, we respect any strategy that turns a profit. Around here, the color of your skin matters less than the color of your money.
Houston Strip Clubs: Welcomes for Heat’s James, Bosh, Wade pouring in: free pest control
Published July 10, 2010 Houston strip clubs 0 CommentsWelcomes for Heat’s James, Bosh, Wade pouring in: free pest control> Posted by Sarah Talalay on July 9, 2010 01:57 PM
A New York strip club offered LeBron James a lifetime of free lap dances if he played for the New York Knicks. But Truly Nolen knows while South Florida may offer paradise (and lap dances and no state income tax free), it does have its insects.
That’s why the company is offering five years of free pest control to James, Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade. Because, well, you know, that thing about defense. That’d be free service through July 8, 2015.
“Like these three superstar players, our company believes the best offense is the best defense,” Michelle Senner, Truly Nolen’s director of marketing and philanthropy said in a statement. “Whether LeBron or Chris block shots or Dwyane steals the ball, they remind us of our tenacious technicians.” It was one of the company’s technicians who suggested they offer the service since, well, the players have plenty to pay attention to on the court.
Houston Strip Clubs: Caught in the Web: Looking at how LeBron James’ announcement affects the Lakers
Published July 9, 2010 Houston strip clubs 0 Comments… LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, IF YOU’LL PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT AND DIRECT YOUR ATTENTION TO THE JUMBO TRON.”
Then seeing my face on the Screen:
“Babe, we’ve been together now for seven great years and you have shown me an awesome amount of support and loyalty, you’ve made me feel like a “King”, so I think it’s only right that I repay you for all that you’ve done. I know that we’re great together…
(Pause for effect)
“BUT… I don’t feel that I can be happy with you anymore so I’ve decided to leave you for Dee Dee and Christy, you know, the two hot Strippers that live down the block. They promised me that all my fantasies will come true… So, um, that’s all… Good Luck with the rest of your life.”
Houston Strip Clubs: 2010 Free Agents: Much ado about nothing, but Lebron.
Published July 9, 2010 Houston strip clubs 0 Comments… Maybe it was inevitable considering the people he calls advisers. Most players have had some sort of a wiser father figure to provide a second opinion. Sometimes it literally is their father Ya know, someone older than say 25.
Peyton Manning has Archie Manning. John Elway had his father Jack. Magic Johnson will tell you about Earvin Johnson Sr. If that weren’t enough, he had a close relationship with savvy businessman and Laker Owner Jerry Buss. Michael Jordan had his father and Shaq had the sarge (although it didn’t seem to help Shaq so much). The list goes on…
Lebron has a bunch of morons his own age. Apparently someone calling himself “World Wide Wes” provides Lebron with pearls of wisdom. No one told Lebron anyone calling himself “WWW” in a business meeting is the tantamount to introducing yourself by your stripper name. Lebron would have been better off hiring someone who plays a businessman on TV.
